Went to town. First V-mails in days.
Received a package via general delivery - So that Works!
Went to library. I was able to upload and copy all the pictures from my digital camera.
Changed credit card info on Paypal (It was still showing the Chase account I canceled 3 months ago.)
I followed up a lead from one of my interviewee’s (Brenda Trueblood) about a place to get my cigarette lighter function working so I can charge them as I drive. The guy was able to do it right away for $25. Perfect!
Now I just need to stop at one of these Truck stops and get an inverter for about $20!
If/when I get a laptop to post these writings daily, I’ll be able to run it/recharge it from the car!
I checked the weather for places in New Mexico (Demming/Las Cruces/Roswell)
All should be good by the time I get to them.
I had hoped to maybe be able to go by the Earthship location in Taos and volunteer/intern for two days - but it’s too cold!
The Day flew by. It’s 6pm and the wind has been blowing in all directions. I’m set for tonight and tomorrow night here at Tortilla Flats. Then I’m off to New Mexico Thursday morning.
I would like to be able to get one of the Mac laptops from between $249-$299 (+Tax) before leaving town.
The days will tell what can happen or maybe someone will donate/loan one for the duration of the year.
Having people see my posts is the key to continuing the Journey.
